I'll just assume you mean the bonus program is dead.

Snarky: Don't think of it as a re-org.  We're merging cultures.

If you've spent more than about six months at a large company there's a very good chance you've been through at least a re-org if not a full-on merger/acquisition. As with most corporate decisions sometimes they're great and sometimes they're an unmitigated disaster.

In my experience the method to the madness has not always been apparent but after reading this excellent four part series on mergers & acquisitions things have become more clear.  Enjoy.
